Turning old windows into new
We are proud to call ourselves a family business and have been recycling materials since 1979 when Jim Williams founded Williams Metals. Tracey, Jim’s wife, later became actively involved and they began processing UPVC window off-cuts. In the 1980s the company was renamed Wyetech Recycling and the business still operates as a partnership between Jim and Tracey Williams.
Tracey Williams
Tracey handles the sales and marketing functions, negotiating with buyers and suppliers of scrap materials in line with commodity market prices. She is responsible for the company’s long-term strategy of forming close relationships with key producers of UPVC products.
Jim Williams
Jim heads up the company’s logistics operations. He manages Wyetech’s collection and supply services, as well as the sales and marketing of the metals side of the business.
The business now employs seventeen staff and has accumulated a wealth of experience in its specialised field.
